Wet apartment

Yay so i go into my bedroom this evening so get on my jammies. And guess what i step in a wet spot. I didn't spill anything or walked in my room with wet snowy shoes on. So I get down and press down and there is wetness everywhere in the corner. So i call maintence and have to move my book shelf. Maintence comes in and tells me there is melting ice from the roof leaking into my apartment and nothing can be done till spring. Yay! The guy said that they will have people come out tomorrow to try to get the ice off the roof, and have the carpet guys (whose van doesn't work in the cold by the way) come out and access the damages. Yea im totally gonna call tomorrow. This sucks.

Why can't i do the toe right?

So i finally finished my second pair of socks. I think i almost have the hang of this whole sock making thing. I have one more sock from another pair that i had started to do. And i think after i finish that one i will be a master. Im just having a real problem with grafting. I hate it and cant make it look right. I am getting better but not really sure what to do with the extra yarn hanging off.
So i really hate the cold weather i really want to smoke but it is so good damn cold i just can't do it. Jen and I went out and smoked on our breaks today at work and it SUCKED! Oh i hate that there is nothing on tv the stupid writers really need to get back to work. Heres my socks....

So this weeknd was uneventful. I sat around my apartment and did my puzzle and watched movies all weekend long. I stayed up too late and slept in too long. I really wanted to go out and do something but had no one to hang out with. Jen and I are "supposed to get drinks" again, this coming friday. I guess we shall she if that will really happen. I dyed my hair today, i think it looks good. I also cleaned my apartment and made myself a really good dinner. I talked to Bari for like an hour today. And now here i am posting this. Here a photos of the work that i did on my puzzle, i prolly will work on it somemore this evening. Till next time.....

Wow Im a loser

So yes i am doing a puzzle. And yes i am a total dork for doing it. My dream room when i was little was to have a room completely covered in puzzle, floor to ceiling. I told my sister this and she got me a puzzle for x-mas. I was doing it on my coffee table but i had some people over last night and i had to move it. Well let me tell you moving puzzles suck. I basically had to put a lot of it back together again this evening. So this is the progress i was at the begining and at the end of my puzzle doing for the evening.

Update

So I haven't blogged in awhile there hasn't really been that much going on. I've been busy with work and the holidays. Christmas went well. Joe's brothers weren't as annoying as i thought they would be. It was kinda fun to watch Trinity and her cousins run around and fight. At the end of the evening the cousins did get a little annoying they wouldn't stop running around. It was kinda sad Trinity didn't feel that well and fell asleep really early. So there was no leaving our cookies for santa or her not wanting to go to bed cuz santa was coming. I hope next year she still believes. So Cortney if you read this don't let her stop believing yet. Heres some pics.....

Cookies

So I am supposed to be going to a cookie exchange party tomorrow, but i had to switch my schedule and now have to work. But i told Lynda that i would still make my cookies cuz i want cookies back. I had to make 8 dozen tonight. I actually made too much dough and prolly ended up with 12 dozen and still have dough left. I made magic window cookies. They are pretty good. Basically they are sugar cookies with melted hard candy in the middle. I used jolly ranchers instead of life savers like it called for. They are still good kinda stick to your teeth eh oh well.
